Garadrak Are there more beautiful things than darken woods? Probably not. This music captures the feeling quite well.

Dave Aftandilian Fantastically evocative storytelling via dungeon synth. Sunlight filters through the trees, glowing green and golden. I could wander in this beauty forever. Yet menace looms here as well, skeletal shapes stalking from the shadows; poisoned sap writhing down trunks and scorching the earth. I run, hide, fade; lose myself for uncounted ages. I silently witness many stories unfolding in this wood, some happy, some terrible, all deeply moving. I am part of all of them, and none.

Deggas >why do I love the album?
It's just so rootin' tootin' good. I used this playlist throughout my DnD campaign where the players were stalked through an ancient forest by an undead green dragon.
Darken Wood 1-5 are perfect for this. Favorite track: Piercing the Demon's Heart.
