Kaptain Carbon VI is the first and most likely only release this year and adds another chapter in an ongoing conceptual journey through misty landscapes billowing with mystic fog. I am so grateful that artists continued to release music since now I can work my way through this discography like a series of fantasy novels. Favorite track: Reclaiming Nature's Hold.

Dave Aftandilian Ethereal dungeon synth visions of enchanted woodland realms. Like all DW albums, listening to this one feels like going on an epic fantasy quest. The moonlit woods are alive with dancing lights, pale and fleetingly beautiful as snowflakes. Phosphorescent toadstool circles mark gateways to wondrous faery kingdoms. Every blade of grass here is alive; every trembling leaf whispers secrets to those with ears to hear.

Michael The continuation of Darken Wood's immaculate series of introspective dungeon synth, VI adds a sense of grandeur to the darkness and mystery.
